FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - (January 1, 2009)
(January 2009) - ComTec Systems, Inc. was the first NEC distributor in the country to install the newest UNIVERGE SV8300 with the award winning NEC UCB call center unified messaging platform.
According to an NEC press release, “The UNIVERGE Communications Server is the ideal system for small-to-medium businesses that wish to compete and grow their businesses over time. This robust, feature-rich solution is completely scalable and can be expanded to meet your communications needs both now and in the future”.
180 Turning Lives Around, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual assault in their community, came to ComTec for an affordable answer to their communication needs. They required a call center solution for their multi-location crisis intervention hotline that would streamline their system, enabling them to answer calls more efficiently.
ComTec provided customized screen pop integration with SalesForce.com to give the organization rapid access to records and other critical information. ComTec also provided a state of the art cabling and complete IT infrastructure from the desk top work stations to the servers and switching electronics. In addition, ComTec designed and coordinated carrier services for the organization to give them the ability to handle the high call volume and deliver data to their multiple locations.
“After meeting with 180 Turning Lives Around and hearing their concerns, I knew the UNIVERGE SV8300 would provide them with the solutions they needed,” said Steve McQuaid, ComTec’s Director of Communications Solutions. “Answering a customer’s specific needs is what ComTec does best!”
