ComTec Systems Renews GSA Contract to Install Security Equipment

ComTec Systems and Honeywell International have renewed their contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) to sell and install security equipment and parts to government entities. This contract period is for February 23, 2010 through December 23, 2015.

The General Services Administration is a federal contract that allows manufacturers to bid products and services to the US Government. Approved vendors are provided a GSA # which then allows for government agencies such as Housing Authorities to purchase goods and services from those approved vendors. This contract is created and designed so that government agencies can install high quality video solutions including design and maintenance, without the need for ineffective bids or the potential of purchasing substandard products.

ComTec has launched a national campaign to design and install security in Housing Authorities around the US. Most recently ComTec completed Trenton Housing Authority which is one of the nations largest city wide wireless security systems consisting of over 500 cameras.
