Michael Vertolli Finalist for Executive of the Year Award: Only Finalist to be Chosen Three Consecutive Years!

For the third year in a row, Michael Vertolli, President and CEO of ComTec Systems, Inc., was nominated as a finalist for the NJBIZ Business of the Year/Executive of the Year Award.  This award honors top companies and individuals for their outstanding contributions to New Jersey’s business community.  According to a spokesperson for NJBIZ, Vertolli is the only finalist ever to be recognized a remarkable three years in a row.

“The awards honor leaders and businesses that have excelled and that continue to have a bright future, regardless of the distractions around them,” said Thomas E. Curtin, Publisher of NJBiz.  “They demonstrate what it takes to turn dreams into reality: fierce determination, rock-solid ethics, visionary leadership and a deep commitment to what matters.”

Categories for this prestigious event include Business of the Year (categorized by number of employees), Emerging Business of the Year, Executive of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year and the NJBIZ Hall of Fame.  Of the thousands of applicants, only six finalists were chosen in each category.

A black tie awards dinner and ceremony was held on December 7th at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ where all of the finalists were honored and one winner in each group was announced.  In addition, Vertolli will be featured in a special supplement of NJBiz honoring all of the finalists.

When asked to comment on the key to his continuing success, Vertolli responded, “I love the challenge of growing a business and am always looking forward to what the future holds. To receive this nomination three years in a row is really an incredible honor.”
