ComTec Systems Places in Philadelphia Business Journal's "South Jersey 25" Competition for Second Consecutive Year
Camden, NJ – The Philadelphia Business Journal has named ComTec Systems, Inc. of Cumberland County as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in Southern New Jersey for the second year in a row.
Now in its 13th year, the South Jersey 25 recognizes growing private companies in the counties of Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, Ocean, Cumberland and Cape May. The top 25 companies were chosen and ranked by researchers at Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business. This award recognizes the company’s achievement in growth of revenue between 2005 and 2007.
In 2007, ComTec placed 16th out of 25. This year, ComTec finished an impressive #14!
The ranking was announced at an award luncheon held on June 12th at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey where Michael Vertolli, President, was presented an etched crystal plaque. ComTec’s Executive Team was in attendance, along with a crowd of 350 executives from various companies in the region.
“To receive this award two years in a row is a testament to the hard work and dedication of ComTec’s employees”, Vertolli commented. “We are constantly challenging ourselves to be the best in our field. Our goal is to try to change at the speed of technology”.
In addition to the award, ComTec was profiled in a two page article published in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s special supplement.
The Philadelphia Business Journal is the region’s local business news source providing a weekly newspaper, daily web updates, and a series of events that bring people together. It is a part of American City Business Journals with 41 publications across the nation.
