ComTec's Star Continues to Rise...Nationwide!
SOMERSET, NJ, October, 2007 – After being selected as New Jersey’s “Rising Star” by Deloitte Touche at an award ceremony in August, ComTec Systems has now been chosen as one of the TOP 20 Rising Stars in the entire country in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Program. This prestigious award is based on the company’s revenue growth over the past three (3) years.
"Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Rising Stars honors young companies that have gained early traction in today’s highly competitive technology marketplace based on percentage of revenue growth. To be honored as a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Rising Star, young companies must have achieved tremendous revenue growth over three years to four years," said Phil Asmundson, Vice Chairman, U.S. Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. “We applaud ComTec Systems, Inc., for being one of only 20 companies to achieve the Rising Star ranking in 2007.”
ComTec’s CEO, Michael Vertolli, credits the company’s diversity with ComTec’s revenue growth over the past three years. "We have transitioned ourselves from being a telecommunications company to a full service technology provider. The rapid growth of our IT services, cabling and security camera CCTV divisions has made ComTec one of few providers that have the man power and capability to handle all the technology requirements in an enterprise environment”, said Vertolli.
Deloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, its member firms, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu is an organization of member firms around the world devoted to excellence in providing professional services and advice, focused on client service through a global strategy executed locally in nearly 140 countries. With access to the deep intellectual capital of approximately 150,000 people worldwide, Deloitte delivers services in four professional areas—audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services—and serves more than 80 percent of the world’s largest companies, as well as large national enterprises, public institutions, locally important clients, and successful, fast-growing global companies. Services are not provided by the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Verein, and, for regulatory and other reasons, certain member firms do not provide services in all four professional areas.
As a Swiss Verein (association), neither Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu nor any of its member firms has any liability for each other’s acts or omissions. Each of the member firms is a separate and independent legal entity operating under the names “Deloitte,” “Deloitte & Touche,” “Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu,” or other related names.
