President and CEO of Vineland-based ComTec Systems, Inc. Recognized as one of SmartCEO Magazine's Smart 100
Vineland, NJ -- In September, Michael Vertolli, President and CEO of
Vineland, NJ-based ComTec Systems, Inc., was recognized as part of Philadelphia SmartCEO
magazine’s Smart100.
SmartCEO, a regional “growing company” publication, describes itself as a resource full of smart
ideas to help educate and inspire decision-makers. It is read by more than 50,000 business
owners in Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC metro markets and its regular features
include interviews, case studies and stories designed to help each region’s CEOs face and
successfully overcome the daily challenges of running a business.
To further their mission to educate and inspire the leaders of local, growing companies,
SmartCEO created a program by which to recognize the “best of the best” of Philadelphia’s
business community: the Smart100. A Smart100 CEO is one that is recognized for his or her
leadership, strategic vision and character in running a business. “I am truly honored to be a part of the first issue of the SmartCEO Smart100 book,” said Vertolli. “It was a pleasure to attend the book launch party, as well, and have the opportunity to meet with
the other CEOs that were recognized,” he added.
The Smart100 were selected by an independent selection committee and were evaluated not only
on their ability to grow their organizations, but also for each CEO’s demonstration of leadership,
strategic vision and character.
